Here’s a confession: I’m not a morning person by nature. So, it’s imperative that I follow a routine to help me break-through hazy morning mindset.
If you have ever experienced this as well, you may find this information invaluable and want to check out this quick read that delivers a powerful impact. The name of the book is “The Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod. Here are the book’s premise and paradigm in a nutshell.
Premise: If we program ourselves to get up early, immediately, and then engage in “SAVERS”, we’ll be far more productive, creative, and energized than we ever could be otherwise.
The paradigm for SAVERS activities (10 mins each):
S – silence: meditation or prayer
A – affirmation: get in a positive, proactive mindset
V – visualization: what you will you accomplish
E – exercise of your choice
R – reading
S – scripting/journaling
Hal adds a great deal of invaluable explanation to each component within the book.
Results: When we engage in these practices first thing, the mind, day, and productivity skyrocket.
Hal also has an incredible story:
Hal’s miraculous story is laid out in this book as well. Most recently, he’s survived cancer and beat incredible odds once again. I don’t know Hal at all; but, my gosh, the man is truly amazing in the most “ordinary,” “understated” and humblest of ways. A quiet Lion, in my view.
I hope Hal Elrod’s SAVERS technique has added value to your day.
